The Acekard 2i adapter is the latest development in flash cartridge technology made specifically for the Nintendo DSi. The card is also fully backwards compatible and works on the Nintendo DS, Nintendo DS Lite and the Nintendo DSi. If you currently have a Nintendo DS / DS Lite, it may be worth getting the Ak2i card rather than the Ak2 so that you don't have to replace it at a later date if you update to a Nintendo DSi. The Ak2i is an adapter so you can use a microSDHC card (up to 32GB) with your Nintendo DSi this allows you to store much more and allows you to benefit from all the following features:

Never lose save data
Acekard 2i writes directly to the save file on your MicroSD card. No need to manually select save types nor battery. Save files are compatible with other flash carts. All you need to do is make sure the save file has the same prefix name and put it at the same directory of file. Then you can just run the software to use new save file.

Support Action Reply cheats. Build-in editor
Acekard 2i support Action Replay cheats in .dat, .xml and .cc format. You can select how to use AR cheats by using the build-in editor.

Copy AR cheats in .dat or .xml format to /__ak2/cheats. Copy .cc format file to the same directory of file.
Press "Y" to popup the editor.
Select "Cheat DB file".
Select the cheat file.
Select "Rebuild".
If you have the cheat code of the software then a list window will be shown. You can use "X" and "Y" to enable or disable them.
Press "A" to save your changes and enter software for fun.

Built in "Trimming" Function
The Acekard 2i has a ‘Trimming' Function built in. When you copy a file in the Micro SD, the Acekard 2i will automatically trim any un-necessary data in a file.

Fully touch screen operation
The Acekard R.P.G. utilizes the idea of the iPhone which gives the customer a totally new control experience.

Build-in file operation
You can use copy, paste and delete at the files in MicroSD card.

Support Multi-language
You can easily change the language within Acekard 2i. There are 8 languages in the firmware, which are Simple Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese and German. You can modify and replace these languages' text as you wish. They are all in /__ak2/language/.

A good solid card, extremely easy to use, the software is just copy and paste, if you read the guide it is idiot proof, they have shown you every step for the computer illerate. As a bonus upgradeable for the future.

First card received was not working; but R4DS were excellent in taking back the old card [freepost address labels available on the website so not even any return postage to pay] and sending a working replacement about 16 days later. As others have noted, this card does not work out of the box on DSi 1.4 firmware, but there is a firmware update available out there that you can use - but you will need another DS [not DSi] to do this. Only takes 5 mins. Once the firmware was upgraded, the card has worked a treat with backuo games and as a music player. I prefer the Acekard user interface to the R4 revolution cards I've used on the old DS; and the card seems well built. Overall, I highly recommend the Acekard 2i and also R4DS' customer service.

i move from a r4 card after updating my dsi to firmware 1.4E blocking my r4i card. well done to r4i.co.uk I recieved this card very quickly even in the bad snowy condition of the new year, After updating the card with the new software using my sisters nds lite the card works like a dream. the interface is highly customisable and very easy to use with much more features than my r4i card. The construction of the card is very strong and i would say in was on par with standard nds carts i will be recomending this card to my friends along with this website to get then, thankyou

I brought an Acekard for the cheapest price. I searched at other websites and this website gave me the best deal. Quick delivery of product . I was sent an email immediately after I purchased and I was given further notice when they dispatched the product. I don't like to shop online but I was given assurance from emails, which made me less worried.

Arrived very quickly & took no time at all to set up. Easy to skin due to may sites offering free themes or design your own with free software from the AceKard site. Runs all my games without problems. Good value for money plus no limit on the capacity of what micro sd card you want to use. It does require a few tweaks here & there as regards how some of the functions are executed but they are minor quibbles.

This is the card that works with the DSi or games. The R4 does not work with the DSi unless you only want to watch movies or pictures or listen to music. Tried both and this is the one that works, thanks memory bits for supplying these products.
